    MDAA HealthLake L3 Construct that composes L2 constructs into a single deployable unit.

    For each entry in datastores, provisions:

    1. A HealthLake FHIR R4 datastore with CMK encryption
    2. A least-privilege IAM data-access role for S3/KMS operations
    3. A Glue database resolver that derives the auto-created Glue DB metadata

    A single KMS key is shared across all datastores (either user-provided or auto-created). The Glue database resolver has an explicit dependency on its datastore.

    Constructors

    Properties

    datastoreResources: { [datastoreName: string]: HealthLakeDatastoreResources }

    Map of datastore name (as provided in props.datastores) to its L2 construct set

    kmsKey: IKey

    The KMS key used for encryption of all datastores (either user-provided or auto-created)

    node: Node

    The tree node.

    scope: Construct

    Accessors

    • get account(): string

      Returns string

    • get partition(): string

      Returns string

    • get region(): string

      Returns string

    Methods

    • Creates or returns a child stack that inherits the parent stack's env (account and region). Subsequent calls with the same id return the previously created stack.

      Parameters

      • id: string

        Construct id for the child stack (must be unique within this construct's scope)

      • stackName: string

        CloudFormation stack name

      Returns Stack

    • Parameters

      • Optionalaccount: string
      • Optionalregion: string

      Returns Stack | undefined

    • Parameters

      • account: string

      Returns string

    • Returns a string representation of this construct.

      Returns string

    • Applies one or more mixins to this construct.

      Mixins are applied in order. The list of constructs is captured at the start of the call, so constructs added by a mixin will not be visited. Use multiple with() calls if subsequent mixins should apply to added constructs.

      Parameters

      • ...mixins: IMixin[]

        The mixins to apply

      Returns IConstruct

      This construct for chaining

    • Checks if x is a construct.

      Use this method instead of instanceof to properly detect Construct instances, even when the construct library is symlinked.

      Explanation: in JavaScript, multiple copies of the constructs library on disk are seen as independent, completely different libraries. As a consequence, the class Construct in each copy of the constructs library is seen as a different class, and an instance of one class will not test as instanceof the other class. npm install will not create installations like this, but users may manually symlink construct libraries together or use a monorepo tool: in those cases, multiple copies of the constructs library can be accidentally installed, and instanceof will behave unpredictably. It is safest to avoid using instanceof, and using this type-testing method instead.

      Parameters

      • x: any

        Any object

      Returns x is Construct

      true if x is an object created from a class which extends Construct.
